Sunrise Road scheduled to open today - June 22, 2012

Update June 30: The opening was delayed by the tragic death of climbing ranger Nick Hall. Recovery efforts are now complete and the road is open to the public.

According to the Mt Rainier Road Conditions page, Sunrise Rd was supposed to open today. No official word if it's open yet, but access to Sunrise should be imminent.
