Some Adams updates from the Forest Service: At night it is cold enough to firm up the snow. Follow the orange
flagging on to and off of Crescent Ridge. Crescent Ridge is snow free
to 8400 ft and solid snow above that. The glissade route coming down
Crescent Glacier is 2-5 feet deep, with one rock showing at this time.
Use caution and check the chute before glissading. Sun cups are present
above 9500 ft. There is water before going on to Crescent Ridge, and
water running at Lunch Counter during the late morning and the
afternoon. The full report is here. |
